They qualified for the Sub-State sectional tournament on Monday in Savannah, TN where they will take on the defending state champs, Hardin County. A win Monday sends the boys to the State Tournament next week. The Girls bowling team easily defeated Cordova to become Regional Champions. They qualified for and will be hosting the Sub-State Sectionals on Saturday at 1pm at Cordova Lanes. A win Saturday sends the girls to the State Tournament next week. Way to go Panthers! SPORTS BOWLING - Both the Boys and Girls Bowling teams handily beat White Station yesterday. The boys were 22 to 5 and led by high scores from Heath Herbison 204, Brayden Negelein, and Caleb Erwin 226. The boys advance to the Regional Finals today against Collierville and have already qualified for the Sub-State Sectionals on Monday. The girls were 26 to 1 and led by high scores from Madison Morgan 201, Sydney Liddle 220, and Jordan Mundt 223. The girls advance to the Regional Finals today against Cordova and have already qualified for the Sub-State Sectionals on Saturday. Way to go Panthers! WRESTLING - Congratulations to the Panther Wrestling team for soundly defeating Briarcrest 69-12 and Germantown 72-11 last night. Wrestlers will be back in action tomorrow at 6PM at the 9th Grade Academy. The top 3 teams in the district, Bartlett, Houston, and Kingsbury, will be battling for a district title and its Senior Night. Student admission is only $1, so be sure to pack the stands and cheer your senior wrestlers on to a district championship. |
