Good afternoon,
Please see the letter linked below with updated information from Bartlett City Schools including information on grade-level specific, teacher-created opportunities for our students. Thank you, BCS File attachments: BCS Letter to Families 3 31 20.pdf Good Morning,
Please see the message below from Mr. Jones. Hello Bartlett HS students and parents, The Bartlett High administration and staff wish you well during this unprecedented time. Teachers and/or staff will be reaching out to you soon with learning opportunities that are meant to sustain academic levels achieved and hopefully improve the sense of normalcy in our lives. There will be learning opportunities available each week for the classes in which you are currently enrolled. These opportunities are optional, but we hope you will take advantage of them to stay prepared for the days ahead. These opportunities will not be graded, but you can certainly ask teachers to give you feedback about how you are doing on the ones you choose to complete. Those of you who are in an Advanced Placement course, Dual Enrollment course, or Dual Credit course, your performance will determine whether or not you can receive college credit. Please know that teachers, staff, and central office are working together to make sure you get the online support and resources that will maximize your chances and assist you with your efforts. We are aware that some of you are concerned about passing classes, or whether or not you will gain the credits required for graduation. We are working on possible solutions to those concerns. In the meantime, your voluntary involvement in the optional opportunities that are provided to you may allow for you to take advantage of grade recovery options as they may become available. A couple of frequently asked questions surround Graduation and the Junior/Senior Prom. Please know that the graduation is still scheduled to be on May 11th and we are meeting and discussing alternate ideas just in case of unfortunate delays. Also, the administration, the staff, and central office are currently discussing alternative dates in May that will work for Prom. So, stay safe and keep social distancing. The administration and staff look forward to seeing each and every one of you back at BHS. Good Afternoon,
