Sophomores:  The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar is for students interested in leadership.  For more information on this 3 day seminar at the end of May, please see Ms. Ross in guidance.  Applications are due December 6th.

TRIP TO ENGLAND - How does Spring Break in London, England sound? Ms. Wooten from the Academy is taking a small group of students to London. If you would like to leave the country for Spring Break 2020, please stop by the office to pick up a flyer or email Ms. Wooten at dwooten@bartlettschools.org.

BOWLING - Congratulations to our Lady Panthers Bowling team for their 22.5 to 4.5 victory over Cordova last night to finish the regular season undefeated in the district!
 The girls were led to victory by great games by 
Sophomore Janna LaBuda and
Juniors Chase Rock and Rebekah LaBuda.
  
Congratulations to our Boys Panther Bowling team for their 20 to 7 victory over district rivals Collierville last night to finish the regular season undefeated in the district! 
The boys totally dominated the game with a season high 3599 series. With awesome games from 
Freshman Daniel Liddle
Sophomore Carter Rayborn and Brayden Negelein (neg a line)
Junior Dominic Williams and 
Senior Kierin Bothwell.
Next week the Teams compete in the District Tournament fighting their way to State! GO PANTHERS

BOYS TRACK AND FIELD - The first boys’ track and field practice will be TODAY, Wednesday, after school.  Come to Coach Gardner’s classroom (NW213) with your physical before 2:30 pm.
 
WRESTLING - Congratulations to the Panther Wrestling Team for defeating crosstown rivals Collierville and Germantown last night.  The Panthers started out the night defeating Collierville 45-36 and then moved on to demolish Germantown 68-9.  This brings their season record to 5-1, so far.  Wrestlers will be back in action this Friday and Saturday as they compete in the Black Horse Invitational at Houston High School.  Good luck panthers and congratulations.

BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT – Students/Faculty- If you are a high school basketball fan, the Farley gym will be the place to be this Saturday.  Bartlett is hosting a full day of basketball with 6 high school games starting at noon.  For a single $7 admission you can watch as many of the games as you want.  The Bartlett High boys team will open the day at noon and play again at 7:30pm. The Bartlett High girls team will be playing at 4:30.  
 
Fans can come and go during the day as you desire.  BHS student activity passes will be accepted for these games.  Come out and support the Panthers!

There will be a general meeting Wednesday afternoon, November 14, in W211, from 2:05 until 2:25. Please plan to stay the entire time for the meeting. Very important information will be shared concerning service hours and requirements.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD -  For anyone interested in Track & Field, there will be a parents’ meeting TOMORROW, Tuesday November 13 at 5:30 pm in NW 213 (Coach Gardner’s classroom).  In addition, there will be an athlete’s meeting on Thursday November 15 at 2:30 pm in NW 213. 
 
WRESTLING - Your Panther Wrestling competed in the “King of the Mat” preseason tournament this past weekend at Houston High School and walked away with 4 tournament champions. 
  • Junior, Kolin Koss placed 1st in the Advanced 106-120 pound division
  • Junior, Noah Walker placed 1st in the Beginner 142-149 pound division
  • Sophomore, Josh Hennings placed 1st in the Novice 101-111 pound division
and
  • Freshman, Kaylee Bozarth placed 1st in the Girls division
 
Congratulations on a great tournament.  The wrestling team will be back in action this weekend in the last preseason tournament at Arlington.  Good luck PANTHERS.
