CELEBRATION PARTY - Students make sure you are on time to class this month. If you have NO tardies and NO discipline referrals this month, you will be invited to attend a celebration party in March.
THURSDAY – TODAY - The University of Memphis Army ROTC will be in the guidance office Thursday from 10:30am-12:15pm. Interested students may visit during lunch or 5th period with teacher's permission and a hall pass.
FRIDAY – TOMORROW - Recruiters from the Memphis Police Department will be in room B-4 Friday, February 23rd from 7:30 to approximately 11:00 to speak to students regarding the Blue Path Program. Blue Path gives you a job during college and pays for your college education while you work. Bring a note from your teacher and try to come at the start of the period to get all their presentation
Attention Seniors: Balfour will be at school on Thursday, March 8th – during all lunches in the Senior Cafeteria to collect grad fees. IMPORTANT….Cash or Check (made out to Balfour) only!! This is the FINAL day to pay grad fees to avoid incurring late charges.
PARKING – Students who do not have a parking pass are not permitted to park in the student lot. The announcement on Tuesday, February 20th served as the final warning. Any student that parks without a pass will be written up and sent to their grade level administrator. BHS progressive discipline will be followed. Prom Tickets will go on sell TODAY, Thursday, 2/22 and Friday 2/23. Prices are $45 for single and $75 for couples. This is an early bird price so get them NOW! This year’s prom venue is at Shelby Farms Fed Ex Ballroom and will be a night to remember.
BARTLETT ANIMAL SHELTER - DONATIONS NEEDED - From now until February 23rd, there will be a box in the Main Office for donations to the Bartlett Animal Shelter. Anything is appreciated, from blankets to pet food and toys, to bleach. Everyone that donates will have their name entered in a drawing for a $20 Chick-fil-a gift card.
BOOK DRIVE FOR LE BONHEUR - DONATE NEW AND GENTLY USED BOOKS TO THE BOX IN THE MAIN OFFICE FOR BARTLETT’S BOOK DRIVE. THE BOOKS WILL BE DONATED TO LE BONHEUR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. WHOEVER DONATES WILL BE ENTERED IN A DRAWING FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN A $20 GIFT CARD.

What’s in the Wardrobe?
Well, okay it isn’t Aslan, but it IS a collection of creativity from your fellow students. The editorial board is now accepting submissions of poetry, stories, art, cartoons, plays, songs, graphics, essays, news stories, editorials, and any other manner of creative serious student work. Pick up submission forms in E15 and get your creative pieces turned in by March 1.
PANTHER PROWL 5K RUN - The 2nd annual Panther Prowl 5k run will be Saturday, March 3 at 8:30 am right here at Bartlett High School. The prowl is the annual fundraiser for the boys track and field team and we want to see you run, crawl, or even hop across the finish line on the track.
