HBCU FAIR - TODAY is day 3 of the Virtual HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Fair. Today there will be zoom sessions with Hampton University and Tennessee State University from 5-6pm. Alabama A&M University and Alcorn State University are from 6-7pm.

LEARNER’S PERMIT LETTER – If you are going to get your Learner’s Permit over Fall Break, you will need to email Mrs. Creech in the Attendance office TODAY through Friday to get your Compulsory Attendance Letter. The letters will be mailed to your home.

North Carolina Central University and Florida A&M University (FAMU) are from 6-7pm. Look around school for posters with the QR codes where you can sign up and find the list of schools attending

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY - The Bartlett boys Cross Country team finished 3rd out of 36 teams at the Jesse Owens Invite! This was the best finish place and time (16:10 average) ever by Bartlett at this race.
Landen McNair & Robert Dawson both finished in the top 10. Robert Dawson and Chance Kirby ran the fastest race of their lives. Bartlett’s Gaining!

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY - Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country Team on a fantastic race in Oakland this weekend! Maggie Roy set her personal record and a NEW SCHOOL RECORDwith a 5k time of 19:38, averaging a 6:20 mile.
Also, a special shout-out to Sophia Cunningham, Sierra Matthews, & Kelley Stone for setting personal records this weekend! Congratulations to these Lady Panthers!

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY - Our Bartlett Boys Cross Country Team won the Frank Horton Invitational on Saturday beating 12 other teams, including Brentwood. Each varsity runner improved by an average of 1 minute and 23 seconds from last year’s race. Landen McNair captured 2nd, beating many of the top runners in the State. Chance Kirby and Christian Patterson also had great races. Bartlett’s Gaining!

GOLF - Congratulations to 9th grader Alijah Griffith, who shot a 79 on Thursday at Orgill Golf Course in the Regional, and will advance to the State Tournament at Manchester, TN. The boys team finished the season with a District championship and a record of 39 wins and 15 losses. The girls team also won the District and finished the season with 11 wins and 5 losses. Good luck Alijah at state!

GOLF - The Bartlett golf team won both the boys and girls District Tournament at Orgill Golf Course on Monday. The Panthers shot a 321 and defeated Arlington by 9 strokes. Asa Hudson and Kade Davis both shot a 78. The win improved the boys record to 38 wins and 12 losses. Alijah Griffith shot a 78 to be lower scorer in the girl's match. The Lady Panthers coasted to a 29 stroke victory over Arlington. Both teams will be competing in the Regional Tournament on Thursday at Orgill for the right to go to the state tournament.

PARKING – Starting Monday, September 21st. a Parking Pass will be required to park in the Student Parking lot. You can pick up or turn in a Parking Pass Application in the Main Office.
SNOWFLAKE - Anyone who wants to join the Steering Committee for The Snowflake Winter dance needs to email msteele@bartlettschools.org, or swing by Miss J Steele’s room, M202 to apply by September 18. We need YOU to help make Snowflake magical!

BASKETBALL CHEER - Clinic and Tryouts will be held TODAY, September 16-18, 2020. Those interested in trying out must contact Mrs. Gipson by email cgipson@bartlettschools.org for more information.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY – Along with the team win this weekend, a new school 5K record was set on Saturday. Landen McNair won the race and broke the school record, averaging 5 minutes per mile for the 3.1 mile course.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY - Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team this weekend on a great race! Shout-out to Sophie Burke for placing 7th in the Varsity girls race!

BOYS AND GIRLS WRESTLING - Anyone interested in joining the boys or girls wrestling teams should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:00PM in the BHS cafeteria.

GOLF - The Panther golf team scored a season low 155 and coasted to a 21 stroke victory over St. Benedict and FACS yesterday at Fair Oaks to improve their record to 35 wins and 12 losses. Freshman Kade Davis shot a 37, Brock Cates shot 38, and Asa Hudson shot a 39 to lead the Panthers. The golf team will be back in action TOMORROW, Thursday in a match versus Arlington at Orgill.

GOLF - The Panther golf team dropped an 11 stroke decision yesterday to Collierville at Stoneridge to lower their record to 33 wins and 12 losses. Asa Hudson was the medalist with a low score of 40. The girls team also lost to the Dragons, lowering their mark to 7 wins and 2 losses. The boys team will be back in action today in a dual match against St. Benedict and FACS at Fair Oaks.

GOLF - The Panther golf team improved their record to 33 wins and 11 losses with a 5th place finish in the Houston High School Tournament. The golf team will be back in action TODAYwith a match versus Collierville at Stonebridge.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY – the team opened up their season with a decisive win over seven other west Tennessee teams. Bartlett was so dominant that our 6th runner finished ahead of both Arlington and Collierville’s 3rd runner.

Bartlett’s top 6 runners were:
Landen McNair, Robert Dawson, Elliot Garst, Chance Kirby, Ethan Wright, and Christian Patterson.

Along with the team win, a new school 5K record was set on Saturday. Landen McNair won the race and broke the school record, averaging 5 minutes per mile for the 3.1 mile course.
